Rules

The messages posted here, are live and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from any machine on the planet that has access to Web content. Although, Ded Serius champions the rights of free speech, common sense and 'Netiquette prevail.  There is a future implementation plan to have Ded Chat address profanity, but, it hasn't been implemented, yet.  Swear, if you wish, but, eventually, your chatting will change.

Sanctions

  1. Unwanted solicitations from folks in the forum:
    • You're given one, if you so choose to issue it to another in the room, but, after 2 turn-downs, you're cordially requested to cease further advances. Any reports of abuse will be researched and resolved with communication to all parties concerned.
    • e-Mail the moderator if you receive offensive communications in this forum.  They will be addressed with full communication of such proceedings to all parties concerned.
  2. Excessive profanity for expletives' sake is highly discouraged, although not forbidden {To be implemented shortly}:
    • The way this works, is that if you find it necessary to communicate your messages using known obscene words, you will slow your chat performance down, since each post with profanity in it goes through an extra step before showing up in the forum.
    • You will be issued a demerit for every expletive as deemed by George Carlin's "words you can't say on TV"
    • You will have one demerit deducted for every 10 posts you can avoid profanity. 
    • Once you get 10 demerits, you will have interesting characters randomly speak to you.  Beware!  They might not even really be people. 
    • It's your choice..... Chat normally, or chat slowly and have interesting things happen to you. Ded Chat moderation doesn't care either way.
